One in three drivers admits to having crashed – or nearly crashed – as a result of driver distraction. Nearly 80% of crashes involve some form of driver inattention.

Those are the headline results from a recent survey conducted by Green Flag.

Driving is the most dangerous task most people do on a regular basis. While drivers are human and it is human to be distracted, drivers must aim to concentrate 100 per cent all the time. Any attempt at multitasking increases the risk of crashing; even a moment of distraction can be fatal.
